Police in New York City are looking for a man suspected of raping a woman at a subway stop, and they’re hopeful a sketch of the suspect will result in an arrest.
It all started around three in the morning. a run-in at the 42nd Street/Eighth Avenue station on Thursday, September 1.
According to the authorities, the victim, who is 21 years old, was approached by a man as she was standing on the station.
The victim said that the assailant brought her to a number of additional subway stations before leading her to the end of the platform and raping her there.
The victim was unable to identify the station where the crime took place.
For medical attention, she was brought to Bellevue Hospital.
A dark-skinned man with facial hair and a scar on his forehead is characterised as the assailant.
He was last seen sporting burgundy and gold Croc shoes and shorts.
