American model and professional wrestler Amanda Rose Saccomanno (born July 18, 1991) is presently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the NXT brand under the ring name Mandy Rose. She previously competed in WWE Tough Enough.
Early life and modelling career
The youngest of four children, Saccomanno was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. She has Irish and Italian ancestry. Saccomanno performed in dancing while she was a student at Yorktown High School. She later graduated from Iona College with a bachelor’s degree in speech pathology. In 2013, she competed in her first fitness competition, winning the World Bodybuilding Fitness & Fashion Boston Show. She was also named the 2014 World Bikini Champion of Beauty, Fitness, and Fashion.
Professional wrestling career
Tough Enough (2015)
Saccomanno competed in WWE Tough Enough VI, the sixth season of the show that debuted in June 2015. On the episode airing on July 28, she was in danger of being eliminated, but competition judge The Miz intervened. Saccomanno wrestled Alicia Fox in the season finale under the ring name Mandy Rose. After the overall winners Sara Lee and Joshua Bredl, she came in second place.
Total Divas (2015–2016)
It was revealed in September 2015 that Saccomanno has assumed Naomi’s spot on the WWE reality television series Total Divas’ core cast. Mandy became Saccomanno’s ring name on October 6.

NXT (2015–2017)
Saccomanno committed to the business for five years following the release of Tough Enough. On January 30, 2016, Rose made her in-ring debut for WWE’s developmental division, WWE NXT, in a six-Diva tag team contest during a live event in Venice, Florida. A six-woman tag team bout featuring Rose, Daria Berenato, and Alexa Bliss aired on the NXT edition of August 17; the team lost against Carmella, Liv Morgan, and Nikki Glencross. This was Rose’s first appearance on television and in the ring. Rose made her second and final live broadcast appearance in NXT on the September 28 episode of the show, where she wrestled in her first singles televised bout and lost to Ember Moon.
