On Christmas Day, Marcus Smart, a beloved player for the Boston Celtics, said that he had proposed to his fiancée and that she had accepted his proposal.
Fans are now interested in learning more about Marcus Smart’s future wife, Maisa Hallum.
Who is Maisa Hallum?
Although Maisa Hallum is frequently spotted courtside at Boston Celtics games supporting her future husband, she is much more than just the player’s pretty face.
After graduating from college, Hallum founded Sousa Swim with her sister, Naseme, serving as its creative director and creator.
Since Hallum doesn’t have an Instagram account and the brand’s Instagram page appears to have been deleted of all images since that time, it is unknown how the brand is doing right now.
The businesswoman, who was born and raised in California, was profiled on the Blueprint Concepts podcast in 2020.
In the podcast, she said that her daily experiences and upbringing in California, where she and her sister “were in swimsuits more than in street clothing,” served as the basis for her designs.
She added that she saves all of her sketches and notes so she can look back on her progress and stay generally organised.
On Christmas Day 2022, Marcus Smart asked Maisa Hallum to marry him.
The current Defensive Player of the Year, though, couldn’t help but amuse his supporters in the process.
He tweeted the following: “It’s enough for me. It’s about time that something is said because I’ve kept it inside for far too long.”
When it came time for him to leave, he tweeted that.
What followed, though, was not what Celtics supporters had feared.
He then tweeted a picture of Hallum wearing a sizable diamond on her left ring finger.
He wrote in a tweet: “Oh, I missed the rest. It’s time for me to end my single status. (Phew) She responded with YES.”
