Alex Albon is taking advantage of the F1 off-season by relaxing in Thailand.
The Williams actress, however, has been on vacation with her stunning partner and golf pro Lily He. Few can also argue against the driver, who holds dual Thai and British citizenship, getting a well-deserved break following a hectic 2022 season.
He suffered a bad first lap crash at the British Grand Prix in July, and was then flown to the hospital. The 26-year-old was caught up in the incident when Sebastian Vettel rammed Zhou Guanyu into the wall while the Alfa Romeo driver attempted to brake and avoid the carnage.
And later in the campaign, his health was seriously jeopardised after he was forced to withdraw from the Italian Grand Prix after learning that he had appendicitis the day before. He had surgery that day, but complications resulted in respiratory failure, necessitating a transfer to intensive care.
The former Red Bull driver dutifully made a full recovery, but he was only able to earn four points to place 19th overall. They were top-10 finishers in Belgium, Miami, and Australia.
The golf celebrity also posted a photo of herself smiling and flaunting her trim shape on social media. The two have more than 3.3 million followers combined on the network, and admirers liked the photographs.
Lily He became a professional in 2017 and began playing on the LPGA Tour in 2018. She also made a funny criticism of Albon’s progress in the sport earlier this year.
“It’s been improving,” she told the F1 Nation podcast, when asked about his game. “But he’s complete chaos on the course. If you imagine pure chaos, that’s Alex. Chaos and golf don’t go hand in hand.”
