The San Francisco quarterback enjoyed the support of his biggest supporter when he led the 49ers to a rout victory over the Buccaneers in December 2022, the rookie’s first career start.
At Levi’s Stadium, Jenna Brandt, a former volleyball player at Iowa State and the University of Northern Iowa, supported boyfriend Purdy as San Francisco defeated Tampa Bay, 35-7.

In November 2022, Brandt appeared to make her relationship with Purdy Instagram, 22, official by sharing a number of pictures on social media. Before Brandt transferred to Northern Iowa in 2018, Purdy and Brandt spent two years at Iowa State together.
“My origins and my boy,” the post’s caption read. In a field, Brandt and Purdy may be seen cuddling. “My girl!” was Purdy’s response to Brandt’s post.
Brandt routinely shares photos from her travels on Instagram, where she has amassed more than 2,500 followers. Brandt generally gives her audience exclusive glimpses while she is on the slopes in Colorado or trekking through Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
At Iowa State, where she played for three seasons, Brandt started her collegiate volleyball career in 2018. But she changed schools to the University of Northern Iowa in January 2021.
In January 2022, Brandt stated that donning a UNI shirt was “a dream come true.”
“I cannot thank UNI enough for this life changing experience,” she posted on Instagram. “thank you to every single person who has crossed my path through this journey that took turns, but each step was for a reason.”
Brandt started playing volleyball for Iowa State in 2018 and stayed there for three seasons. She did, however, switch to the University of Northern Iowa in January 2021.
Brandt stated that donning a UNI shirt was “a dream come true” in January 2022.
