After a video purportedly showing him pushing an 11-year-old kid, the former principal of a school in California was charged on Wednesday, September 7, with deliberate cruelty to a minor. The incident happened on June 7 but wasn’t brought up in court until lately.
The 50-year-old Brian Vollhardt, the former principal of Wolters Elementary School in Fresno, California, can be seen talking with a special needs student in the video, which has now gone viral. The teenager makes a finger gesture toward Vollhardt during the conversation, causing the principal, according to reports, to force the student to the ground.
