Suleman Dawood’s mother disclosed that her son brought a Rubik’s cube to the Titanic wreck with him in order to set a world record for doing so at a depth of 3,700 meters.
Tragically, while traveling to the Titanic wreck, Suleman Dawood and his father Shahzada Dawood both passed away. Suleman, a first-year student at Strathclyde University, was 19 years old.
Suleman’s mother, Christine Dawood, also spoke about her son’s excitement about setting the world record for solving the Rubik’s cube in under 12 seconds and getting it into the Guinness Book of World Records. Suleman’s father also brought a camera so he could be seen solving a Rubik’s cube underwater.
Christine also mentioned that his son loved Rubik’s Cube and would always carry it with him. She also talked about how eager her husband Shahzada Dawood was to travel.
