On April 29, the Redmi Note 12R Pro is expected to go on sale in China. The launch date was disclosed by the business directly through a Weibo post. Prior to its release, it also disclosed the smartphone’s design, color options, and important technical details. The 5G phone will have 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The phone will have an OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The Redmi Note 12 series, which was introduced in China in October 2022, will now include it.
Through a post, the company hinted at the appearance and color options of the upcoming Redmi Note 12R Pro. On April 29, the device is slated to make its debut in China. There will be three color options: Black, White, and Gold. It will come with a dual camera system, the primary camera of which has a 48-megapixel resolution. The phone will also have a flash and the Redmi 5G logo on its back panel. The right side of the phone, which will undoubtedly support 5G connectivity, will house the power button and the volume rockers.
A 120Hz OLED display with SGS low blue light certification for eye protection is one of the key features of the phone that the company has also confirmed. The smartphone will have 256GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM. The company claims that a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC will power it. According to Redmi, the phone will go on sale in China on April 29 at 10:00.
The Redmi Note 12R Pro will be added to the Redmi Note 12 series, which was introduced in October of last year. The Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are the three models in the series. All three devices have an OLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a customized MIUI 13 skin, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Under the hood, they are, however, each powered by a different chipset. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC powers the standard Redmi Note 12 while the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC powers the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
