The support staff for the national team’s upcoming ODI series against Afghanistan and the Asia Cup 2023 has been confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
Before beginning their Asia Cup campaign against Nepal in Multan on August 30, the Babar Azam-led team will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs) against Afghanistan later this month.
Team manager Rehan-ul-Haq, team director Mickey Arthur, head coach Grant Bradburn, and batting coach Andrew Puttick make up the player support staff.
The national team will also be led by bowling coach Morne Morkel, fielding coach Aftab Khan, assistant coach Abdul Rehman, and team physician Dr. Sohail Saleem.
The team will also be accompanied by the strength and conditioning coach Drikus Saaiman, the physiotherapist Cliffe Deacon, the media manager Ahsan Iftikhar, and the security manager Usman Anwari.
Ammar Ahsan, a digital content producer, will only be with the team for the Asia Cup, and renowned psychologist Maqbool Ahmad Babri will be there as well. Malang Ali, a masseuse, and Talha Ijaz, an analyst, will also be there.
It is important to note that on August 17, the Men in Green will take a flight to Sri Lanka, where they will take part in a three-day training camp in Hambantota.
